**Objects:** 1) ENCOURAGE CONSERVATION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE AMENITIES, AREAS OF TRANQUILLITY AND FEATURES OF HISTORIC INTEREST IN THE CHILTERNS; 2) RAISE THE AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE CHARACTER AND HISTORY OF THE CHILTERNS AMONG THE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO ENJOY AND CARE FOR ITS NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND BEAUTY;3) ENCOURAGE HIGH STANDARDS OF TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING AND DESIGN IN THE CHILTERNS; AND4) PROMOTE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED.
