Trustees are appointed by the existing trustees and are ratified by the Church membership. ## **Objectives** a) The advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with our Statement of Faith. b) The relief of poor, aged, sick and those in conditions of hardship or distress. c) Such other charitable purpose as the Trustees may from time to time determine. ## **Activities and Achievements During the Reporting Period** ## _Membership_ a) Church gatherings and discipleship continued in three locations, Northolt, Dunstable and Manchester. b) There was a slight growth in membership in the Dunstable and Manchester locations. ## _Missions_ A highlight in 2022 mission was the ability to support charity projects overseas, in Mozambique and Sri Lanka. ## _Ukraine War_ As the war broke out in Ukraine, the Living Waters Church decided to support the Foursquare Church in Chernigov through prayer and counselling of leaders. Furthermore, the Pastor's wife and children were brought over to the UK through a government sponsorship initiative and accommodated in the home of a Church family. ## _Training_ Leadership training and messages of encouragement were brought through speakers invited in person and some through online media from overseas. Regular training was done on Wednesday nights by in-house trainers. ## _Evangelism_ Evangelism was done on the streets. The Dunstable location rented a stall at the town market day during the Christmas season, handing out free food hampers for families in need. 1 ## **Financial Review** Income for the year was £49,203 and total expenditure was £39,218. Restricted funds include an amount of £2,912 that is held on behalf of our Manchester congregation. The trustees declare that they have approved the Trustees' Report above. Charity Number: 1084921 ## **Responsibilities and basis of report** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. ## **Independent examiner's statement** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: a) accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or b) the accounts do not accord with the accounting records I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
