## **Trustee’s Annual Report Living Waters Foursquare Church (Reg. Charity no. 1084921) For the Year – 2020 (January – December)**

## **General**

2020 was a challenging year with the pandemic and the closure of physical in person meetings. Since the first lockdown in March the church did not meet at the regular building at the Scout Hut in Kenton due it being closed by the Scout Association. All gatherings were conducted on line using zoom and daily meetings begun. The leadership of the church made a decision to not continue with the hire of the Scout Hut in Kenton but to move in person gatherings to Northolt when normalcy was established.

Due to government restrictions some meetings during the summer were held in local parks with the consent of local councils.

It was noted that with the moving on to online meetings the impact and audience grew to those overseas as well as many parts of the UK. Urgent upgrades were needed in terms of equipment to facilitate online streaming.

## **Missions & Church Planting**

A two week mission trip to Sri Lanka was organised with 4 members of the congregation visiting the North, East and South of Sri Lanka. A highlight was the work at a disabled children’s home in Vavuniya.

## **Membership**

- There was a growth in the membership in the young adult and youth section as well as some families joining in especially through the introduction of online ministry.

- Divine healing and many answers to prayer were also experienced through the year.

- Many families were supported through the pandemic especially those who were struggling with the loss of jobs.

- Regular weekly food distribution was also conducted in partnership with the NewVine Church in Wembley.

- Not one member contracted or passed away from covid.

- It was sad to note the passing away of Ken Bates after a battle with cancer.

## **Training**

Weekly training was conducted over Zoom and this gave the opportunity to invite foreign speakers. Special training on the work of the Holy Spirit was conducted for Sri Lankan leaders and Pastors regularly over 6 months.

## **Evangelism**

Due to the restrictions, evangelism on a one to one and street healing was curtailed.

## **Finances**

The income for the year was £35,477. The total expenditure was £23,494. See accounts for further details. Missions funding was sent to overseas nations. There was an increase in income compared to 2019.

## **Trustees**

There were no changes to the Trustees.
