## **Objectives and Activities:**
To advance the Christian religion, to relieve sickness and advance education in India and in other countries as requested by the General Secretary of the Indian Evangelical Mission.
## **Trustees:**
Anil Kumar Gunja, Leena Kumari Ummadi, Solomon Nathaniel, Pearl Hardy, Christopher John Hardy, John Lancaster.

## **Charity Structure:**
The charity operated with a Chair (John Lancaster), a treasurer (Christopher Hardy) and a secretary (Pearl Hardy). Unfortunately John Lancaster died in February 2023. Christopher Hardy has acted as a temporary Chair until a replacement Chair is appointed. We are exploring appointing new trustees and people who are interested in the charity’s work are being approached.
## **Activities and Objectives.**
We encourage donations for the work of IEM in India. Any money that is given is forwarded to India several times each year. In particular, we are raising money for the construction of a Girls’ Hostel in north east India.
## **Achievements and Performance.**
At the end of the year we were encouraged that we had raised sufficient money to build the Girls’ Hostel and the building was dedicated on 14[th] November 2023 in the presence of one of our trustees. Money raised subsequently is going towards building of the adjacent Boys’ Hostel.
## **Financial Review.**
£53,615.33 was sent to India during the year, of which £40,000 was a bequest from a will. £36,250 was itemised for building of the Girls’ Hostel. A separate amount of £12,050 was sent to OMF International to finance the mission work of Indian Evangelical Mission Workers in Ghana.
## **No funds are held as a custodian trustee.**
