Independent Examinerfs Report to the Trustees of Patterdale King George V Playing Field I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the charity for the year ended 28 February 2025 which are set out on the attached 2 pages headed 'Receipts' and 'Payments'. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111'the ACVI. I report in respert of my examination of the chariWs accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515)Ib) of the Act. Independent examinerfs statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in onnettion with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: accounting records were not kept in respert of the charity as required by section 130 of the Act,. or 2. the accounts do not accord with those records. Trustees Report For KGV Patterdale 2024-25

I would like to thank all the volunteers, trustees and committee memebers who have contributed to the succesful running of the KGV Pavilion and playing field. It has been another succesful year for the KGV playing field site, with a variety of external events being held again including the Hodgson Relay, the Lake District Sky Ultra Event, the Ullswater Country Fayre and several local hire events from charity events to weddings. Unfortunately Patterdale Dog Day was cancelled due to the weather, but overall the weather was an improvement on the previous year, which has meant the field has been used extensively for events and parking. The KGV Playing Field continues to be the home to Patterdale Cricket Club, Ullswater United Football Club and the Patterdale Tennis & Croquet Club who have home fixtures during their season throughout the year
The introduction of the option to pay a donation for car parking by card has been extremely succesful with a steady stream of income from card payments.
An additional tractor has been purchased for the field this year to ensure the grounds and pitches are kept in good condition. Again I would like to thank the volunteers from the sports clubs who do an excellent job looking after and tending to the grounds.
