York Racial Equality Network provide independent, impartial information and mutual support to individuals who are experiencing racial harassment, victimisation, discrimination or isolation. Aim to promote awareness of the needs of black and minority ethnic people in the York and NY area by developing links with appropriate voluntary, statutory agencies and by encouraging a multi-agency approach.
Objects: 1) To Work Towards The Elimination Of Racial Discrimination.2)to Promote Equality Of Opportunity And Good Relations Between Persons Of Different Racial Groups Without Distinction Of Sex, Race Roof Political Religious, Or Other Opinions: And3)to Promote And Organise Co-Operation In The Achievement Of The A Foresaid Purposes In Particular But Not Exclusively In The Area Of York
