Introduclion
We would like to thank everyone for the siipport and cornmitment they have shown to the Maloree5 Parents Staff and Friends As50ciation
IPSFAI in the last year. We could not have done it without the Support and donations from parents. teachers, friend$ and the greater
community.
The PSFA is a regi$tered charity that exists to support both Malorees Infant and Malorees Junior Schools cultiirally. socially, and finanoally.
In setting out our activities ft)r the year our oflieers and trustees have Siven careful eonsideration to the Charities Commission's general
guidance on publicbeneEit. This Report surnmarises activities between October 2(r24 and October 2025.
We held our regular and large events during the year enhancing the jives ol the children attending the school and community.
The PSFA continiies to attract active membersbut ￿turned to a single chairperson thisyear. Wehave tried hard to be innovative and engage
families and local businesses. We sincerely thank the parent voliinteers who help the school in such a variety of ways byhelping with events
throiish to bringing their 5peciali5t skills and knowledge to SLipport the school in specific task5. We thank you for your ENERCY.
COMMITMENT and SACRIFICE.
Financial Summary
The PSFA started its financial year with a £46,322 balantr. Income of £48,080 was raised throii8h events, tundraising and donations.
The financial statement to follow details how money was invested, with £17.866 of the £29,159 total expenditure donated to the 8chool5.
Any further investment was delayed until the AGM for 24.25 academic year to ensu￿ that all parties were in agreement as to how best the
PSFA funds 5hoiild be invested. We have earried a very healthy finaneial surplu5 of £65,243 into 2025 to 2026 academic year. With the
prospect ol a re-build ol the school most of the money is held over until building cornplelion. This year we had no main spongK)r, which
was disappointing.
We began the year with £6,933 allocated to the Roser's Garden Fund. Q,093 was spent with the m05t l£1,2151 went to take the children on
a farm trip. Other things were Some Tnore trainin& leacliing Tesoiirces, comp05t, topsoil and seeds leaving £8.030 reserved to carry over.
£3.000 was allocated from the Lights and Winter Markel takins$. There is £400 restricted for Malorees Music Trust from quiz nkght takings
over 2 years. This leaves £56,813 of unallocated funds.
How we raised money

Fundraising. This i5 worth sharing Wlih friends tynd family too as they Can all be helping to raise Eunds lor our school simply by shoppins.
£202 has been raised in this way. We a150 raised £85 from Chri5ttnas Carol concert. Mike Cleary. who teaches sports, arranged for the
PreTnier [￿agUe trophy corne to the school for one day much to the excitement of the children. We raised £218 in donations from people
photographed by it.
How money has been used?

6 yearbook l£1.3521 and Art week I￿00) along with the amount above lor the Orchard. We await the building before donatins more.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounls of Malorees Parent staff and
Friends Association {'the charity,) for the year ended 1 Olh of Odober 2025 which comprise
the summary of receipts and payments and the statement of assets and liabilities.
This report is made solely to the charity's trustees, as a body, in aGcordance with section 145
of the Charities Act 2011. My work has been undertaken so that I might slale to the charity's
trustees those mallers l am required to state to them in this report and for no other purpose.
To the fullest extent permilled by law, I do nol accept or assume responsibilily to anyone other
than the charity and the charity's trustees as a body, for my work. for this report, or for the
opinions I have formed.
Responsibilities and basls of report
As the trustees of the charity you are r8sponsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 {'the Act,).
I report in respeGI of my 8xamination of the charity's accounts carried out under section 145
of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions
given by the Charity Commission under section 145{5){b) of Ihe Act.
An independent examination does not involve gathering all the evidence that would be
required in an audit and consequenlly does not cover all the matters that an auditor considers
in giving their opinion on the accounts. The planning and conduct of an audit goes beyond the
limited assurance that an independent examination can provide. Consequently l express no
audil opinion on the accounts and my report is limited to those specific matters set out in the
independent examiner's statement.

in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respecl..
accounting records wèr8 not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130
of the Act., or
