Para 1.20 | As a family church we are always looking for ways to meet the needs of every generation in our local area. Unfortunately due to covid some of our activities have been put on hold for the time being, or restricted as necessary. However we have our main church meeting at the church building, where all are welcome, and two mid week meetings are also now held on zoom. We hold a monthly men’s breakfast and a ladies monthly afternoon lunch. Members of our church invite friends or people that they have come to know, for some food and a chat. Because people can chat in a friendly atmosphere many issues are raised and resolved. Our church members are formed from a wide variety of the public, and we can usually point people in the right directions should they need help. Some people only attend these breakfasts/lunches, having made friends and Enjoy the company. Some join our church if they wish to. Due to covid worries the youth group meetings are on hold at the moment. But most of the youth still attend our church meeting and some of them are learning to play instruments and sing in our worship team. Young people can socialise in a safe environment with us, which we believe will increase their confidence, wellbeing and also could reduce local incidents of anti-social behaviour. |
