YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2025
The trustees are pleased to present their report together with the financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2025.
CHARITABLE OBJECTIVES
The principle objectives of the church are the advancement of the Christian Faith and Education and the relief of those in need.
ORGANISATION The church is governed by a leadership team comprising the leaders of the church and its named trustees. They meet quarterly to set policy and review the activities of the church. REVIEW OF ACTIVITIES AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS
The year began with excitement believing God for what only him can do in our midst. Several activities were carned out, from time to time during the year. Among the activities were:
SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR NEW MOTHERS
A support sessions was held with mothers with new born babies. Education about managing their wellbeing and the new baby. We covered topics like; Sleep. Routine for the new baby and for the mothers. Teachings on Shopping and general chores from the older women in the church. We raise funds among ourselves to assist the new mothers. This activity was very rewarding for all the new mothers and the impact it has on the babies.
CHILDREN MINISTRIES.
Our children ministries grew from around 7 to over 20 children. They are doing so well. They are involve in singing and drama. Once in a while they show case their talent to the adult church with the consent of their parents. They had a great time during the year and these activities help to grow their confidence. YOUTH OUTREACH .
The youth ministry had a day out twice this year. They were able to use the day to reach out to other young people in the town centre. They distributed snacks and soft drinks to others in the town centre. They had a picnic in Forbury Garden in Reading. The program was awesome, Even those that are not part of the church came to join them. It was such a good network program in the community. GENERAL OUT- REACH.
Several outreach programmes were carry out in the year. We had a mini three days revival outreach, where other ministries within Reading and outside Reading attended. Teaching, training and workshops were carried out. Everyone that attended felt revived and encouraged.
WOMEN DAY OF PAMPERING.
These activity targeted on self care. The importance of looking after one’s own health. Tips on eating well. Exercise. Spending time with the word of God. Praying and not to be anxious. It was a refreshing time for all. COME LET US DINE TOGETHER.
This activity is carried out once in a month. We arrange with a restaurant that supply us food for the day and we all dine together. This forum is created so we can know each other. Interact and pray for one another.

CONFERENCES.
We organised two conference in the year three days each. It is a period where we spend the days in the presence of God. Guest speaker are invited from different churches. It is a time of reflection and learning new things in the presence of God. A great Opportunity for spiritual growth. PREPARING THE UNDER 11 YEARS GOING TO SECONDARY SCHOOL,
The children Sunday school department spend time to prepare the 11 plus group going into secondary school. Sessions are held for them to ask all their questions about stepping up and going to Year 7. Challenge about the new level and expectations.
SATURDAY PRAYER MEETING.
This activity focus on support for one another in the church through prayers. Different needs are brought and joint prayers are held for everyone based on needs. This has help us to develop strong bonds. In summary the year activities were very rewarding to all. We praise God for the grace and the opportunities given to us in service unto Him.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
The income of the church decreased during the year to £28,737 from £145,728 Expenditure increased to £28,427 from £15,975 As a result the net effect of funds in 2024/25 has increased the surplus in the year,
RESERVES POLICY
The church has not established a Reserves Policy. However the trustees are satisfied that the church has sufficient funds for its activities to continue and to grow in the current year.
RISK MANAGEMENT
The trustees have examined the major strategic, business and operational risks which the church faces and confirm that systems have been established to monitor those risks so that the necessary steps can be taken to lessen them.
TRUSTEE RESPONSIBILITIES Under the Charities Act 2011, the trustees are required to prepare a statement of accounts for each accounting year which gives a true and fair view of the state of the affairs of the church. They are required to: 1. Select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently 2, Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent 3. State whether the applicable accounting standards have been followed 4. Prepare the financial statements on an ongoing basis

They are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the church and to ensure that such accounts and recoras comply with the Charities Act 2011 They are also have a responsibility to safeguard the assets of the church and to take reasonable steps to detect fraud or other irregularities and to provide reasonable assurances that: ». The church is operating efficiently and effectively 6. Its assets are safeguarded against unauthorised use or disposition /. Proper records are kept and financial information used in the church or for publication is reliable 8. The church complies with relevant laws and regulations

independent Examiner's Report To the Trustees of
CHRIST ABUNDANT LIFE MINISTRY INTERNATIONAL | report on the accounts of the church for the year ended 30 June 2024 set out on pages 6 to 10 which have been prepared on the basis of the accounting policies on page 7. Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner The trustees of the church are responsible for the preparation of accounts; they consider that the audit requirement of the Charities Act 2011. It is my responsibility to : " @xamine the accounts under the Charities Act 2011 “follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioner made under the 2011 Act. “ State whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner's report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the church and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently | do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. independent examiner's statement
Based on my examination, no matter has come to my attention which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect, accounting records have not been kept in accordance with 2011 Act, or that the accounts presented do not accord with those records. or comply with the accounting requirement of the 2011 Act. No matter has come to my attention in connection with my examination to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
