Boost is a faith-based charity operating in Felixstowe, Suffolk, pioneering partnerships between faith and education, working with churches and schools. BOOST employs a Chaplain who works within Felixstowe Academy to support staff and students, explore faith, and build community. This provision extends to primary schools to support young people in their transition to high school.
Objects: To Promote And Advance The Christian Religion, Benefit The Community And To Further Education Through: (1) The Provision Of One Or More Christian Youth Workers In The Area Of Felixstowe, And In The Surrounding District, Wherever Opportunities May Occur; (2) Proclaiming The Christian Gospel To Young People And To Work Ecumenically With All The Christian Churches Committed To The Charity Objectives. (in This Regard The Christian Church Is Defined As Those Churches That Accept The Lausanne Covenant Statement Of Faith); (3) Seeking To Work With Young People Through Work In Schools, Churches And In The Community; (4) Carrying Out Other Events And Activities Ancillary To Or Additional To The Work Of The Youth Worker, In Order To Promote The Christian Gospel To Young People; (5) General Promotion And Support Of Christian Youth Work Within Felixstowe, And In The Surrounding District, Wherever Opportunities May Occur.
