Objects: To Advance Public Education Through The Provision Of Facilities For The Exhibition Of Artefacts Relating To The Age Of Steam Railways Within The British Isles And Non-Railway Artefacts Of Historical Interest Relating To The Social Environment In Which The Railways Operated; Archives Of Photographs Of Educational, Historical, Or Artistic Merit Largely But Not Exclusively Related To Working Steam Railways World-Wide, Film Of A Similar Nature, And Other Printed Documents Of Historical Interest To Be Made Available To Historians And The Public Through Both Electronic & Printed Media; Along With The Associated Preservation & Restoration Activities Necessary To Maintain Such Artefacts, And Facilities To Ensure Their Survival For The Education & Enjoyment Of Both Present & Future Generations Of The Public.
