**Activities:** To preserve the collection of medals, records, archives, memoirs (both written and oral), uniforms and equipment relating to the regiment known as The Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment within Maidstone Museum, St Faith's Street, Maidstone, Kent, and in order to assist with enquiries about and research into the regiment's history, and to educate the public thereon.
