THE CONDUCT OR COMMISSIONING OF RESEARCH INTO THE TREATMENT, DIAGNOSIS OR PREVENTION OF SUCH ILLNESSES, DISORDERS OR AGEING PROCESSES AND BY THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH; AND 2. THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, BURSARIES OR SUBSIDIES TO THOSE SUFFERING FROM THE AFOREMENTIONED ILLNESSES, DISORDERS OR EFFECTS OF OLD AGE.
