**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF UPPER COQUETDALE AREA OF NORTHUMBERLAND AND SURROUNDING AREAS,(HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE AREA OF BENEFIT")  WITH OUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATION IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

**Activities:** To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Upper Coquetdale area - consisting of the parishes of Netherton & Biddlestone, Harbottle, Hepple & Alwinton.  The chairty provides facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations.
