Activities
Provides positive, stimulating and enjoyable out-of-school activities for all 6 to 13 year olds resident or at school in the Seaton Valley wards of Northumberland which is an area with no other activities available but does have a high level of anti-social behaviour especially related to alcohol and drug misuse. The HI seeks to offer diversionary activities to challenge this behaviour.
Objects: To Promote The Benefit Of Young People Between The Ages Of 5-18 Years In The Blyth Valley And The Surrounding Area, Without Distinction Of Sex, Cultural Or Other Opinions By Associating The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations And The Local Inhabitants In A Common Effort To (a) Advance Education; And (b) Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life And So As To Develop Their Physical And Mental Capacities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society.
