StRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Ty Enfys Family Centre is a charlty governed by a constitution as adopted 25th May 2000 and amended 17th May
2011. It Is registered as a charity wlth the Charity Commission.
The alms and objects of the charity are "to develop at a local level the skills and nurturing capaclty of families,
parents and carers so that the well-being and life ChaTr￿ of thelr children are enharKed,"
Appolntment of Trustees
Trustees are appointed as set out in the constitutlon. Professlonals and Serv1￿ users within the community, who
have a personal Interest in the charity, are ￿Vited to join the management committee. Nomination forms are
completed and applicants are voted onto the Committee as appropriate. COMMItt￿ members can also be co-
opted when appropriate.

To provide a safe Spa￿ for adults to meet and bulld frlendships while getting access to fresh fruit and
vegetable5, a cookery session once a month, a craft session On￿ a month, a weekly ￿eakfaSt, and a
w&ldy'coffee and chat, session to discuss issues, stresses, share advitr and Ideas, laugh and have fun.
To increa* the feelings of well-being for chlklren and young people.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Reserves Policv
Ty Enfys Family Centre has reviewed the rlsks that mlght occur and feels thèt r￿erVeS are necessary to enable
the Servi￿ to continue in the event of the loss of a major grant. The trustees feel it would be Important to
ensure that the service could continue at the same level of provlsion for between 6 - 9 months runnlng costs
following the loss or discontinuation of fundi￿ to enable time to secure altematlve provlsion. At 31 July 2025 the
reserves available tr) the charity were £6,075.
STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES RESPONSIBILITIES IN RELATION TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The trustees are responsible for preparing a trustees, annual report and the financial Statements in accordance
with appllcable law and Unlted Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom GeneraNy Accepted Accountlng
Pratticel.
The law appllcable to Char￿tieS in England and Wales require5 the charity trustees to prepare financial statements
for eath year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of the incoming resour￿5

RISK MANAGEMENT
The trustees have carried out a revlew of the malor risks to the organlsatlon and believe that the level of
reserves aimecl for in the reserves policy below is ￿lffiCient to cover adverse conditiDns that the
organisatlDn may face. In addiik)n the organisation has in place financial, personnel and Health & Safety
controls to limit the likeliho￿ and impart of risks. All actlvities and events are risk assessed prior to
commen￿ment. Approprlate DBS checks are done of all stsff and volunteers. The trustees will attSve
monitor risk and review their policies at teast annually.
