STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Ty Enfys Famlly Centre is a charity governed by a consblution as adopted 25th May 2000 and amended IW May
2011. It is registered as a charity Wlth the Charity Commission.
The alms and objects of the charity are 'to devek)p at a locol level the skills and nurturlng capadty of famllles,
parents and carers so that the well-being and b'fe Chan￿ of thelr children are enhanced."
Appolntment of Trustees
Trustees are appolnted as set out In the constitutlon. Professlonals and service users wlthln the communlty, who
have a personal interest In the charlty, are invited to join the management tommlttee. Nomination forms are
completed and applicants are voted onto the committee as apkxoprfate. Commiitee members can also be co-
opted when appropriate.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Reserves Policy
Ty Enfys Family Centre has reviewed the risks that mrght occur and feels that reserves are necessary to enable
the servlce to contlnue In the event of the loss of a major grant. The trustees feel it would be Important to
ensure that the St￿6￿ could continue at the same level of provision for between 6 - 9 months runnlng costs
foltowing the loss or discontinuation of funding to enable time to secure alternative provision. At 31 July 2024 the
reserves avallable to t1￿ charlty were £5,597.
STATEMENT OF TRusfEES RESPONSIBILITIES IN RELATION TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The trustees are responslble for Ereparlng a tru5tees' amual report and the flnanclal statements In accordance
wlth applicable law and United Klngdom Accounting Standards (Unlted Kin9dom Generally Accepted Accounting
Practlce).
The law applicable to charities in England and Wales wuires the charity trustees to prepare financial statements
for each year which give a true aThJ fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of the Incoming resourtrs
and appllcatlon of resour￿5 of the charlty for that perlcKI. In preparlng the finandal statements, the trustees are

I report on the accounts of the charity the year ended 31 July 2024, which are set out on pages 14 to 18.
Responslbllitles and Ba$ls of Report
The charlty's trustees are responslble for the preparati￿ of the accounts In accordance wlth the requlrement of
the Charltles Act 2011. The charlty's trustees conslder that an a￿lIt Is not required for this year under sertion
144(2} of the Charltle5 Att 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an Independent examinatlon15 needed.
I report In respect of my examlnatlon of the charlvs accounts carrled out under settlDn 145 of the 2011 Act and
in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charities Commission
under Section 145(5)(b) of the ACL

RISK MANAGEMENT
The trustees have carrled out a r￿eW of the major r15ks to the organlsatlon and belleve that the level of
reserves aimed for in the reseNes policy below Is sufficient to cover adverse conditions that the
organisatson may face. In additlon the organisation has in platt financial, personnel and Health & Safety
controls to Ilmlt the Ilkellhood and Impact of rlsk& AJI actlvltles and events are rlsk assessed prlor to
commencement. Appropriate DBS checks are (bne of all staff and volunteers. The trustees wlll actlvety
monltor rlsk and review thelr policies at least annually.
ULTIMATE CONTROLLXNG PARTY
The charity is controlled bv the l)oard of trustees.
