Thurro¢k for eithei the Social Car Setvice (Volunteers using their own car% to help members who find ii diffieuli to use
public (ransPOrtI. The Minibu5 Service (for Ihose member% who have w travel in or with iheir wheelchairs or any member
who, by way of impairmeni. needs an a¢ce$8ible vehicle) has had to be leMpor￿llY suspended due 10 financial pttssures.
School Tran5POrt route5 continued to run daily during term tiine for the most vulnerable children across 5 routes.

The charity has continued to 0￿rate with no chaiitable financial assisian¢e from the local authority.

concern. In their consideration they have had regard 10 a period of12 ￿onthS ftom the signing of these accounts.
The charity made a %mall bUtplu5 during the year to 31" Match 2025 and the managemeni foreca51 is for a deficii
)sition for the current flnancial year.
The contracts with Thurrock Council for the provision of School Transport were tendered in July 2024, wilh a
siipulaiion that Ihey would be awarded to just one provider. a posiiion that the Charity could noi flllfil. However,
the winner of the tendei has provided an opportunity for the Chariiy to ¢oniiDue servicing 5 rou￿$ as a sub-
contractor.
The directors acknowledge thai these school transport services. under any likely contractU81 scenario will not
provide Sufficient financial %uppon 10 meet Ihe entirety of ILS fjnancial c()st% and that continued lupport from
grani income will Ee needed
The trustees recognise the current financial difficulties Ihey face. TrUS￿e$ hJve been prudeni in keeping enough
reserves lo pay all crediiors if necessary and will consider an orderly closing ofthe charity if there is insuffjcieni
income in 2025. The a¢c()unLy aFe prep(￿ed on the b&tSi5 that the charity is a goin8 concern.
