**Objects:** (1) FOR THE RELIEF OF CHILDREN AND OTHER PERSONS WITH HEART DISEASE AND RELATED AILMENTS IN NIGERIA AND ELSEWHERE; (2) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PROTECT AND PRESERVE PUBLIC HEALTH IN PARTICULAR THROUGH PROMOTING RESEARCH INTO HEART DISEASE AND OTHER CONDITIONS AND DISSEMINATING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.

**Activities:** February 2011: A total 348 underprivileged children and young people from Africa, have received life saving heart operations through the Kanu Heart Foundation since 2000. The Foundation's waiting list is currently oversubscribed and we receive many appeals on a weekly basis.
