**Objects:** (1) FOR THE RELIEF OF CHILDREN AND OTHER PERSONS WITH HEART DISEASE AND RELATED AILMENTS IN NIGERIA AND ELSEWHERE; (2) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PROTECT AND PRESERVE PUBLIC HEALTH IN PARTICULAR THROUGH PROMOTING RESEARCH INTO HEART DISEASE AND OTHER CONDITIONS AND DISSEMINATING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.

**Activities:** February 2011: A total 348 underprivileged children and young people from Africa, have received life saving heart operations through the Kanu Heart Foundation since 2000. The Foundation&#x27;s waiting list is currently oversubscribed and we receive many appeals on a weekly basis.
