The trustees recognise their responsibilities tuwards public benafit under the requirements of the
Charities Act 2011. Th8 Trust was established with objects that are for the public benefit. The truste88
recognise their responsibility for the conlinued monitoring of the public benefit of the Charlty6
activities.

During the year under rewew the Trust conb'nued to be responsib￿ for th8 day to day management af
the prop8ty at 54 Rofant Road, Northwood. which is proNided for the occupation of tha minister of
Eastbury Church.
In addition, the Tru81 further supported the ministy of Eastbury Church by dlrecty passlng on to the
Church donations that W8r8 made to the Trust by Church members and others. together with the
8S8ociated Gift ￿d.
Revlew ol transactlons and financlal po8ltlon
During the year total income of £47.611 {2020 - £58.392) was recelv8d. All of this was unrestricted
arKI will all be applied in the support of the mlntstry of Eastlxjry Church. The Trust made a deficit of
£1,987 durlng the year (2020 - £14,265 surplus). The total unrestricted fund was £23,439 (2020-
£23,306). The trust8es have deS￿nated this unrestrict8d fund for the upkeep and Improvement of 54
Rofanl Road. Hal￿ng regard to the above and the restricted repairs and improvements fund of £3,130
{2020 - £5,250), the trustees believe that the finanrial position of the Trust is satisfactory.
Futuro plans
It is tha trustees. intentlon to V￿rk closely with the leadership of Eastbury ChurGh and in particular to
continue to maintain 54 Rofant Road as a suitable house for the minister of Eastbury Church.

The trustees have identified and reviewwl the majcx rtsks lo whKh the Trust IS 8xpos8d. They believe
that the major risks relate to the proFthy at 54 Rofant Road. This risk is reviewed regularly by the
trustees. The trustees maintain appropriate insurance and also retain suffJci8nL reserves lo ￿Ver this
and olher potentsal risks.

Accounting convention
The accounts are prepared on a going concem basis under the historical (x)st I￿)nventIOn,
and, èxc8Pt for the Irealment of the Trusvs property whith is stated at valuation (as
explained in nole 3), comply wth the Statement of Financial Reporting Stsndard {FRS 102)
as it applies to chariti8s und8r the applKable Ststement of Recommended Practice
(SORP).

The Trusl is a registered charity and is not SUbj￿t to corporation tax on Its current
activities.

3 Rentsl Income and Exp•nditur•
Th8r8 were no rental income and expermliture, as It was occupled by the Mlnlster of the
Church throughout the finaneAal year. During the year £2.120 was sp8nt on improving the
property by replacirvJ the carpets wlth wooden fkjoring. Last year the rental income of
£16,7771s net of management Charges arKI property expenses relating to the rentsl wa8
£787.
4 Flx•d A880ts
Durfng 2000 the freehold property, 54 Rofant Road. Northw￿, was wrchased for
£252.000. This property was revalued at open market walue with vacant possession al
6 November 2012 by Stephen M Comish. BSC. FRICS, FFPWS. with a value of £500,000.
No up to date valuats'on has been carried out due to the cost involved. However, the
trustees do not b8118ve that the wopety is ￿J￿entlY worthless than th18 revaluation.
5 Amount du• to Eastbury Church
Th8 amounl due to Eastbury Church <x)nsists of grfts made by members of the
Cong￿gatIOn of that church. together wth the 8rh8ociated Gift Aid. At the donors, request
th8s8 a￿ all passed directly to the church. The balance at any time represents gifts
received. but nol yet paKJ over to the Church.

The Pastorfs House Fund rewesents the property at 54 Rofant Road, 8tsted as
explained in note 4. Thls house was purchased with gifts made, mainly by members of
Eastbury Church, in order to provide a home for the minister of Eastbury Church.
The Repairs and Improvements Fund consists of a grft thal w85 rnade to be used for
major repairs and improvements to 54 Rofant Road. £2,120 of Improvements Incurred
during the year were deducted against this restricted reserve.
At 3108¢ember 2021. the whole of the unrestricted fund has been deslgnated for the
maintenance and Impro¥Bment of 54 Rofant Road. Repairs undertaken during the year
are vffitten off as incurred.

During th8 year trustees made donations to the Trust as part of their Chrlstlan giNllng to
Eastbury Church. These amounts. together with the associated Gift Aid. were passed directly
