# **ROTARY CLUB OF KIMBOLTON CASTLE TRUST FUND CHARITY ACCOUNT** **INDEPENDANT EXAMINER'S REPORT for the year ended 30th June 2024** I report to the Trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity ("the Trust") for the year ended 30 June 2024. As the charity Trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparaton of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act"). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. I have completed my examination and can confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in any material - the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or - the accounts do not accord with the accounting records which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. Auditor Name Address Details Date ## **ROTARY CLUB OF KIMBOLTON CASTLE TRUST FUND CHARITY ACCOUNT** ## **TRUSTEES' ANNUAL REPORT for the year ended 30th June 2024** ## **Objectives and Activities** Enabling the giving of charitable grants to those areas defined in its charitable objects. The aim is to engage in the activities that are supported by the Rotary movement namely to help those in need in the local Community, to support international projects, assist young people seeking a vocation and generally and support protection of the environment. ## **Achievements and Performance** The charity raised £41 311 and made grants of £13 011 for a range of local, national and international charities and other deserving causes. Additionally, various direct forms of help were given to a number of groups in need. ## **Reserves Policy** The Charity's accounting policy is to hold sufficient reserves to finance the promotion of fund raising events and ensure the ability of the Trust to respond quickly to the likely demands for funds. ## **Trustees** The Trustees who served during the year to 30th June 2024, were: Eric Joyce Terence Geoffrey Soult Ross Edward Goody Christopher Paul Davies Bryony Jo Doughty Andrew James Matthews Charles Nicholas Monsell Andrew Frank Vincent Pooley ## **Declaration** The trustees declare that they have approved the trustees' report above.
