**Objects:** TO RELIEVE DEAF PEOPLE IN FRANCOPHONE AFRICA BY: ADVANCING SPECIAL EDUCATION FOR DEAF CHILDREN; PROMOTING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEAF STUDENTS FROM NURSERY TO HIGHER EDUCATION; ASSISTING YOUNG DEAF PERSONS IN FINANCIAL NEED THAT SUCH PERSONS ACHIEVE INDEPENDENCE AND LEAD NORMAL LIVES IN A HEARING SOCIETY

**Activities:** Providing transport for Deaf children to and from their schools. Restoring schools for the Deaf. Running sign language classes for Deaf children's parents. Supplying basic educational material to Deaf pupils & schools. Empowering local Deaf associations/groups. Organising awareness training of HIV/Aids to the Deaf community.
