Activities

Action Against Abduction's mission is to keep our children safe from abduction. To do this we: 1. Develop policy and practice that prevents child abduction2. Develop policy and practice that achieves positive outcomes in cases of child abduction3. Research and analyse the nature and scale of child abduction4. Ensure parents and professionals are equipped to keep children safe.

Objects: The Objects For Which The Company Is Established Are To :-(I) Relieve The Distress And Suffering And To Promote The Care And Protection Of Children And Young Persons Anywhere In The World (Without Differentiation On The Grounds Of Race, Colour, Nationality, Creed Or Sex) Who Have Been Abducted, Who Have Gone Missing, Or Who Have Otherwise Been Exploited By:- Promoting Compliance With And Upholding The Administration Of The Law In Particular As IT Governs The International Abduction Of Children And Young Persons;- Assisting In The Tracking And Locating Of Missing Children And Young Persons World-Wide And By Enhancing On An International Level Awareness Of The Problem Of Missing Children And Young Persons And Of The Exploitation Of Children And Young Persons;- Conducting Research Into Nature, Extent, And Effect Of And Issues Surrounding The International Abduction Of Children;- Providing Information And Advice To Individuals, Groups, Agencies And Governments About The Tracking And Locating Of Missing Children World-Wide.(ii) Protect And Encourage The Protection Of Children And Young Persons From Exploitation And Victimisation Anywhere In The World Without Differentiation On The Grounds Of Race, Nationality, Creed Or Sex;(iii) Relieve Poverty, Sickness And Distress And To Advance Education And To Promote Such Other Purposes Which May Be Charitable According To The Laws Of England And Wales As The Company May Decide.
