Independent Examiner’s Report

## To the Trustees of Jesus Christ Witnesses God's Victorious Army

On accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024 Charity No 1088178

Set out on pages 1 - 2

## Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the 1993 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

It is my responsibility to:

. examine the accounts under section 43 of the 1993 Act,

. to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 43(7)(b) of the 1993 Act, and

. to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

## Basis of independent examiner’s statement

My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission.

An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the amounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.

The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a “true and fair” view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

## independent examiner's statement

In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention

- 1 which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with section 41 of the 1993 Act; and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 1993 Act have not been met ; or

- 2 to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

## Acting Chairmans Report — Roy Moul.

Looking back on this last year it has been a very challenging one for us. We have all faced various challenges and issues to contend with, but we thank the Lord as he has kept us safe. More recent problems with our bus and team member’s health issues have made witnessing on the streets difficult. Since September when Mick had his hip replacement, we have not been able to take the bus out. | am glad to say Mick is now able to drive once again. | have not been on the bus since last July owing to my cancer treatment. We thank the Lord for his mercies. We were unable to conduct our Easter Witness with the cross last year as out health issues prevented us. This has been a great disappointment | know. May be 2025 will be different. The bus has had major body repairs, and this meant time lost on the streets. The team have faithfully continued the witness in Freshwater, Wroxall and Shanklin and this has also been a time of spiritual encouragement until September.

| know we are all serving the Lord and so it seems inappropriate to thank individuals, but it is important to honour one another. Heather thank you for your continued faithful work as secretary and trustee. Nigel thank you for your continued faithful work as trustee and sorting our newsletter and maintaining the website. Anne thank you for your faithful works as trustee and help to Mick and carrying out face painting and other activities on our behalf. We are so glad that your knee replacement last year has been successful, and we pray your other knee will be sorted successfully this year.

Mick thank you for your faithful work as evangelist and team leader especially with your various health issues and | know you have been diligent in continued witness in different ways. Dave and Lin thank you for maintaining the prayer clock and attending the shows playing an active part in the outreach. Bernard thank you for faithfully getting the newsletters posted and sharing at our prayer meetings. Maurice and Wendy thank you for your support at the Chale show. Richard thank you for your faithful support as a team member encouraging us in fellowship and witness. Celia thank you for your editing skills especially on our quarterly newsletter’s. Dave Baldwin thank you for providing faithful support in printing our newsletter’s etc. This year of 2025 has already been a challenging time so far. It is always good to thank with a sincere heart our heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit as we cope with whatever we have to face. “I will never leave you or forsake you” is the promise we hold on to.

Treasurer’s Report - Roy Moul. Acopy of the Treasures report was given to each person present. Roy said he wished to express his sincere thanks to all who faithfully donate to the bus outreach. Without the faithful giving we would not be able to continue with the outreach. Thanks also to the donors who have paid some of the vehicle repair bills. Direct debits and donations were down, but the overall balance was up due to a £25,000 bequest. Payment was given to three charities of £2,500 plus Paul Carter. f git End of year balance 224,444.2c, 5) 6 Peo

Treasurers report was accepted and approved by a show of hands

Team Leader’s Report — Mick Hunter. Roy covered the cross and ongoing repairs on the bus with some advisories. Thanks for those who walked with the cross. Depending on the weather for the Chale Show. If it is rough it was decided to have the marquee put up for us. Jesus said “As my Father sent me, so | send you” Jesus’s purpose was to save the lost, so it is our current mission if we are born again by serving the Lord and broadcasting his work to those who are lost and in dark places and

tormented that’s what makes the pain and suffering worthwhile. What the Lord went through for us it is a great honour and responsibility to serve the Lord in the present climate.

## Newsletter and Website - Nigel Ventress

Nigel sent a message as he was unable to attend the meeting. Just to give my apologies that | will not be able to attend the meeting with you all this evening for the prayer and AGM. Regarding the newsletter — we continue four times a year and the summer newsletter is due out now and if items can be sent in by next Saturday 14" June. The website hosting has migrated from TSO host to 123, reg. No other issues.

## Prayer Clock - Dave and Lin Sibley

There are a few places to be filled. Dave Said it was nice to see it is used and could Roy check at his fellowship if anyone would like to join. A piece to be put in the next newsletter to ask if anyone would like to come on or come off.

## Shows

Mick mentioned the Chale show in his report. This year at the Wolverton show our pitch will be flat and sighted in the children’s part.

## Vehicle

MOT is due on the 5th of June. Advisories needed to be done before which will not give much time before the show. When these have been done it is hoped there will be no advisories when the MOT is done this time. Mick to get Neil to Come round and check the vehicle while in Freshwater. The bus is in its 15" year on the road. It has always had problems with rust due to the roads. Due to Micks age the usual insurer would no longer insure it and has now been insured in his name. He is the keeper, but the trust is the owner.

## AOB - None. The meeting closed in prayer at 20.29 pm ActingSignedChairman Roy wou... BRArka 7..rme blokea
