Chairs Report 2025 The purpose of the PSFA is to help provide additional facilities for the children at our school. Plctor continues to provide a carin8 and safe learning environment for pupils and a place of support for our families thanks to the dedicated staff who have gone over and above to achleve this, The primary function of the PTA isto raise funds and to bring our school communlty together through social events. At our Chri5trna5 Fair we went 'back to basics, and it was a huge success. In April we held our 3rd successful Virtual Duck Race. Although the races don't raise a lot of money, they are easyto organise and a lot of fun. Our Summer BBQ was a lovely, even thou8h bad weather affected attendance. We saw some new face5 at our famlly dlsco held a few weeks ago, again attendance was low, but people had a reallygood time. We have asked parentsfor new event ideas. some suggested a film night and a car boot but sadly WÈ had to cancel both because of a lack of interest. We will continue to think of new ideas. We have had some successful grant applications this year. We approached Dunelm before Christmas 2024 to ask to be part of their Christmas appeal, they supplied generous gift5 for 30 of our less fortunate families, they have agreed to do the same this year. 'Happy Days Charit¢ paid for our panto in January, and we are waltlngforthem to approve our grant for another this January. They have also promised between £750 and £IOOOtowards the Year 6 residential, We were successful in an application for outdoor musical instruments for James Garden, Morrisons have donated £8000 to buy them. Ateam of staff volunteers along with an ex-pupil have spent several Saturdays preparing the area. We have continued to promote our lottery, Easy fundraislng and the clothing collectlon. All brin8 money into school for very little work. The PSFA have funded many things for Pictor this year which Lee will talk about in her report. We have had a lot more staff become involved in the PSFAthis year and we hope this will continue.
