**Objects:** THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE TRUST FUND AND ITS INCOME UPON TRUST TO AWARD BURSARIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONTINUING THE PROVISION OF A CHORAL EDUCATION FOR A CHORISTER OR CHORISTERS OF THE CATHEDRAL AND METROPOLITICAL CHURCH OF CHRIST CANTERBURY ("CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL") BEING A CHILD OR CHILDREN WHO IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES WOULD CONTINUE TO BENEFIT FROM SUCH AN EDUCATION BUT WHOSE PARENTS HAVING COMMENCED THEIR FULL FINANCIAL COMMITMENT WERE BY REASON OF FINANCIAL NECESSITY UNABLE TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE THE NECESSARY FEES.

**Activities:** The awarding of bursaries for the purpose of continuing the provision of a choral education for a chorister or choristers of Canterbury Cathedral who in the opinion of the trustees would continue to benefit from such an education but whose parents having commenced their full financial commitment to paying fees were by reason of financial necessity unable to continue to provide the necessary fees.
