Activities
Woodnet undertakes education, research into woodland management and use of UK timber resources for sustainable development.The charity is based at the Woodland Enterprise Centre, East Sussex, where Woodnet delivers training courses and professional development to young people and businesses interested in conserving the woodland landscape, through using local timber in a creative way.
Objects: (A) The Preservation Of An Area Of Some Eighty Acres Of Woodland In Flimwell East Sussex For The Benefit And Use Of Members Of The Public. (B) Providing Education And Understanding Of Woodland Areas And Education In The Conservation And Development Thereof (C) The Advancement Of Education In The Understanding Of Wood Management Including The Training Of Individuals In Wood Based Crafts And Skills; (D) The Provision Of Education In Woodland Management And The Advancement Of Public Knowledge Therein By Facilitating Education, Training Research And Development (Including The Dissemination Of The Useful Results Of Such Research And Development) In All Aspects Of Woodland Management
