During the year the Charity had four tn￿tteS who undertook all the relevant artivities for the
Charity.
Objectivu and activitie8
The objective of th¢ Charity is to r¢-home dogs. The Charity is govemed by its Constitution
dated 7 June 2(H)O.

During the ye4r the Charity re- homed 48 dogs.
Fin*n¢i41 review
During the year the Charities fimds increased by £10216.
Statement of trustees, respon8ibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparing the annual report and th¢ financial statements in
cordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Generally Aeeepted Accounting Practice.
Law applicable to ctwtties in Englalkd and Wales requires the trnstees to prepare financial
statements for each financial year which give a trne and fair view of charity's financial
activities during the year and of it5 financial position at the end of the y¢ar. In preparing
rinancial statements giving a trne and fair View. the trnsiees are required to:
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistenily,.
make judgements and estimate5 that are reasonable and prudenL and
prepar¢ the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to
presume that the charity will continue in operdiion.

I report on the financial S￿ements of Whitby and Scarknrough Dog Rescue for the year ended 31
May 2021 which comprise the ststement of financial a¢iivities, th¢ balance sheet, the cash flow
statement and the related note5. These financial ststemenis have been prepared in accordance with
the Financial Reportillg Standard for Smaller Entities (effective Jalluary 2005), under the
historical cost convention and the accounting policies set out the￿iTh.

As the charitys trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the a¢¢ounts, you ¢onsidei thai
the audit requirement of section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 {the Act) does not apply. It is our
responsibility io slate. on the basis of procedures specified in the General Directions given by the
Charity Commissioners under section 43(7Xb) of the Act, whether particular matters have come to
our attention.

Commissioner5. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity

The financial staiements prepared under the historical cost convention and in
accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entili¢s (effective January 2005).
