**Objects:** TO ASSIST IN THE MAINTENANCE, RESTORATION, PRESERVATION REPAIR, IMPROVEMENT AND BEAUTIFICATION OF THE FABRIC OF ST. MARY'S CHURCH COWES, IN THE DIOCESE OF PORTSMOUTH (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE CHURCH) AND OF THE MONUMENTS, FITTINGS, FIXTURES, STAINED-GLASS, FURNITURE, ORNAMENTS AND CHATTELS IN THE CHURCH AND CHURCHYARD BELONGING TO THE CHURCH AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE  CHURCH AS A PLACE OF CHRISTIAN WORSHIP.

**Activities:** The Friends is established to assist in the maintenance, restoration, preservation, repair, improvement and beautification of the fabric of St. Mary's Cowes, Cowes, Isle of Wight and of the monuments, fittings, fixtures, stained glass, furniture, ornaments and chattels in the Church and Churchyard belonging to the Church and to preserve and protect the Church as a place of Christian Worship.
