## Trustees Annual Report for the year ended 31st August 2025

The FRoGS have continued, throughout the year, to provide a range of fundraising and social activities for the children, parents, carers and teachers.

The committee has two principle aims; to continue to develop relationships with parents, the school and the wider community and raise funds. We believe we achieved these aims this year. In connection with the school and the community we have also focused on inclusiveness by arranging a community litter pick (with the New Haw Litter Pickers) and a sponsored Skip-a-thon during school time to allow all children to participate.

The two main fundraising events of the year were the Christmas fair and the Summer fair, and both were very successful. The Christmas fair raised £3,922.24 and the Summer fair raised £4,281.11. These events would not happen without the help and support of the many great people, including local shops and businesses - our thanks go out to everyone involved.

## Our other fund-raising events:

Colour Run - raised £1,180.29

Quiz nights x3 - raised £1,918.38

Litter Pick Sponsorship - raised £991.50 Skipathon - raised £1,406.81

Parent / Employer matching Donations this year totaled £2,900.

## School Needs

Our donations to the school this year have totaled £20,000 which the school have allocated towards reinstating the Wellness Garden (specifically the decking area), creating a new sensory room, providing additional Little Wandle books and Rainbow reader resources as well as the removal and replacement of the new school playground markings. As well as booking the school Christmas panto, arranging Year 2 leavers party and gifts.

FRoGS will continue to work closely with the school to identify areas where FRoGS fundraising can be used to enhance the school community in the year ahead. Any ideas for future fundraising activities are always welcome - please email frogscharity@outlook.com or come along to our Committee and/or Event Planning meetings.

The Trustees have in place insurance cover for Public and Employee Liability, Personal Accident, Monies and a Fidelity Guarantee through Parentkind.org.uk

I declare, in my capacity as charity trustee, that the trustees have approved the report above; and have authorised me to sign it on their behalf.

## Examiner's Unqualified Report

## Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of FRoGS

I report on the accounts of FRoGS for the year ended 31 August 2025, which are set out on pages 2-6.

## Respective responsibilities of the trustees and examiner

The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the Act), as amended by s.28 of the Charities Act 2006) and that an independent examination is needed.

## It is my responsibility to:

- Examine the accounts (under section 43 of the Act, as amended); To follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 43(7)(b) of the Act, as amended); and

- To state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

## Basis of independent examiner's report

My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

## Independent examiner's statement

In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:

which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements

to keep accounting records in accordance with section 41 of the Act: and

to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting requirements of the Act

## have not been met; or

to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
