## Activities

**Objects:** (A) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC, PARTICULARLY YOUNG PEOPLE FROM ETHNIC MINORITIES LIVING IN TOWER HAMLETS AND OTHER PARTS OF GREATER LONDON, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SPORTS ACTIVITIES AND THE PROMOTION OF HEALTH EDUCATION AND LIFESTYLE. (B) TO PROVIDE SPORTS FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THOSE IN NED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR AGE, PARTICULARLY THOSE FROM THE ETHNIC MINORITY GROUPS LIVING IN TOWER HAMLETS AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS. THE FACILITIES SHALL INCLUDE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES,, TRAINING ACTIVITIES, AND SEMINARS.

**Activities:** The Sports Network Council is a consortium of community, voluntary, youth, and sports organisations, schools and statutory bodies that acts as an umbrella organisation to promote the greater participation of socially excluded groups in sports and health activities in Tower Hamlets.
