**Objects:** TO PROVIDE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF BISHOP MONKTON AND NEIGHBOURHOOD FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE, WITH THE AIM OF IMPROVING CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS WITHOUT EITHER DISTINCTION OF SEX, OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINION

**Activities:** The hall and grounds are used by Bishop Monkton cricket, football, bowls and croquet clubs and by local groups for community events, ie. parish plan meetings, entertainments group, the Women's Institute, life-savers group, fitness classes and a school holiday club. The local community are free to use the grounds for their recreation and leisure and the hall may be hired privately.
