To promote cultural, religious, social, linguistic and economic welfare
of**darji**community in UK, predominately in Leicestershire and surrounding

Annual religious events, around Navratri, Diwali, and Christmas. Special events| ||

Arrangements in place with a neighbouring centre for the use of the facilities.| ||The total activities of the Charity are managed by a group of volunteers, this
include organising of events, overseeing of the events, car parking controls,
maintenance of the Centre and its grounds, support to community members| |Achievements and performance|| ||| 4 **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year.** Following the Covid closedown, the Charity has gradually begun to set up a programme of events to engage the community. During the year 15 events were held which brought in over 200 community members. More elderly members and young members are now drawn into the programme. There is now an active group of Volunteers supporting the activities of the Mandal. The Centre is continually being upgraded, new ceiling installed during the year, and sound system upgraded. 5 ## **Financial review** _Cash at bank at 31/12/2023 was £k in unrestricted funds.
