ANNUAL REPORT 2023 Dear friends Thank you very much. I have produced a short report on what we have done in the year 2023. After a lapse of two years, we manged to organise another successful dinner and as you can see from treasurers report we collected £14300. Thank you very much for oaa the organisers and the supporters who attended. In the years we managed to exceed the last years income by nearly £15000. This is due to generosity of the donors. Thank you very much for all the donors. All the money raised was spent on medical equipment to donate to various hospitals to improve the care for patients affected by economic situation in Sri Lanka. The details of how we distributed the equipment is mentioned in the treasure’s report. Our appeal for donation at the dinner was to raise funds supply medication at Aprksha ( Cancer ) Hospital Maharagama. There for bulk ok the funds were allocated for the purpose. We have distributed the funds through the Organization Prashakthi. Despite the difficulties we continued to support the kidney patients as we have done in the previous years, and we have funded 400 dialysing units. We aim to continue raising funds for this vital project next year. We are looking forward to supporting some new projects in the coming year, and welcome additional requests.
