OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Objectives and Aims
The Spinfield School Parents Association was established for the purposes of advancing the education of the pupils attending the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities not normally provided by the local education authority.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Charitable Activities
Donations and funds raised at social events has allowed the school to spend in the following areas this year; KS1 Outdoor Learning Area, Lease of iPads, Music lessons, Forest School, Language Lessons, Literary Festival visit for the whole school
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Reserves policy
The trustees aim to maintain free reserves in unrestricted funds in order to be able to respond to urgent needs of the school.
The balance held as at 31 August 2020 was £51,487 (£32,360 in prior year)
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Governing Document
The charity is controlled by its governing document, a deed of trust and constitutes an unincorporated charity. The constitution was adopted on 17[th] November 1999. .

| As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the | |
| accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the | |
| Act”). | |
| I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under | |
| section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed | |
| all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section | |
| 145(5)(b) of the Act. | |
| Independent examiner's | I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have |
| statement | come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause |
| to believe that in, any material respect: | |
| the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the | |
| Charities Act; or | |
| the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or | |
| the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the | |
| form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) | |
| Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and | |
| fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent | |

| I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with | |

Notes to the Accounts

1) All receipts for this period were in the form of unrestricted funds. The Association has no endowment funds, special trusts or restricted funds.

2) More detailed analysis of the receipts and payments for this period are shown in note 1.

3) Direct payments to Spinfield School comprise payments made directly to the school. Other contributions to Spinfield School covers purchases made by the Association for the benefit of the school.

4) Receipts and payments from deferred events represent income and expenses for an event which take place after the end of a financial year. There was no such event in this year.
