To enhance the provision offered by Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre through funding additional educational resources and opportunities to pupils that are not funded through the school's delegated budget.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre Charity Fund enables Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre to purchase uniform items for pupils attending the school at cost price. This subsequently means that parents and carers can purchase uniform items for their child directly from the school at the same cost price and prevents parents and carers having to pay the increased cost of purchasing school uniform from external suppliers.
This charitable function means that the cost of children’s school uniform items is not an inhibiting factor for families.
Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre Charity Fund also enables Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre to provide uniform items and Hobby School Programmes to disadvantaged pupils’ families at no cost.
