THE CHARITY BENEFITS PEOPLE OF ALL AGES WITH DISABILITIES, ELDERLY PEOPLE, DISADVANTAGED YOUNG PEOPLE AND SCHOOL CHILDREN BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO THE RIVER THAMES AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES ON THE RIVER THAMES. THE CHARITY OWNS AND OPERATES BOATS TO FACILITATE THESE ACTIVITIES. IT IS LARGELY SERVED BY VOLUNTEERS.
Objects: (a) To Provide People In Greater London And South Eastern Counties With Facilities For Recreation Including Boating Activities And Other Leisure Time Occupations In The Interests Of Social Welfare With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Especially Of Young People And People With Disability And For The Advancement Of Education, Including Environmental Education Relating To The River Thames, In Particular By The Holdings Of Meetings, Lectures And Classes (b) To Undertake Any Other Charitable Activity.
