The total income for MCH for 2024-2025 was £28,998 and expenditure £24,272. The accounts therefore show a profit of £4,726 which is mainly due to our Secretary/Booking Agents new fund raising initiatives.
The Hall continues to be very popular, but some users have either reduced their hours or gone down to a smaller room within the hall to save them money as a lot of the groups have lost members. This appears to be happening at all Community/Village Halls with the cost of living crisis not just at MCH.
I am confident that 2025-2026 will prove to be a good year for MCH as the new aforementioned initiatives are proving to be very popular and our Secretary/Booking Agent should be singled out for all her hard work in turning previous losses into a profit.

I am pleased to report that Mablethorpe Community Hall continues to go from strength to strength despite many challenges.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Barry, our Caretaker, who goes above and beyond every day and keeps our beautiful hall in shipshape condition, along with his wife Adele, our Secretary and Booking Agent who works very hard behind the scenes to ensure the hall runs smoothly. You both are amazing!
I would also like to thank Carl, our Town Council representative, who has supported us for many years also to Big Local CCC for funding solar panels, Mablethorpe & Sutton Town Council for funding our new canopy, Pat our Treasurer and Kim our bookkeeper.
Finally, I would like to thank all our Committee members for their continuous support throughout the past year.
I know that the next year will still be challenging with increasing costs, but with all your continued support, I am sure that Mablethorpe Community Hall will continue to thrive and grow, whilst still being the heart of the Community.
