Lyn partner schools, Ineluding Nyang'oro, Mlowa, Maz¢mb& Lulanzl. Ilambllole. W, a¢)d Lundamatwe. The
selecr(on of these followed the enhanced 5electlon pmcess put In place by Lyra in 2021 en5urin8 Intreased
transparency and full invohment of key loc￿ Stakeholders In the 5electlon proce55. By the end 012023, 89 of the
mM￿SponsOred rem*ned ifi the hostels.
We are de1￿hted that all 89 MMF-5ponsored are now actively engaged in the Lyra-run ICT clubs. They ￿$0 ￿1
took part in the Lyra twn Merbstrual Heath Manwent {MHMI Trrining and Adc4escent Sex￿1 and Reprodurtive
Hwdlth ISRH) trrining rolled out in Ottober 2023 to Lyra partn•r schooL%. Follo￿n¥ thq trwning, all MMF-
sponsored 8lrls recefved reusable sanltary pth, whlch $￿pOrt thelr health, Wel￿beIn& w*J unlnterrupt¢d
education.

Marth 2023 and were part of the students, teams pitthing their digital innoYdtion5.

Solv power4d <omput8r lab at Lulanzl Sgrondary School
Through fijnding fr¢)m MMF. the ffirat solar systern was installed In Lulanzi Secefjdary School, tfdnsformlng students
and teachers. learning experlence. Lyra hid previousty intt￿led a small computer lab in Lulanzl In October 2019
I I refijrblshed computers. However. wlth over rtudents In the school. the raflo of I computer to 44
students meant tlRt the lab wa5 not able to meet the demand
Lulanzl was chosen as the ideal locadon to eypand thè computer lab and InlJat¢ the tran$itl¢)n to a solar-powered
facllity. This decisKJn made wlth the ?irn of addressing the Issue5 of ￿sUfficIent computer availability the
¢haUenges posed by Irre¥ular power $￿pty to the s¢hopl. The expanded computer lab, run by solar ptswer has
SI￿￿1¢*￿ty enhanted teachers and Students, acce55 to diytaj resource5 and edutational opportunities.
The solar powered diOtal lab now conslsts of 31 computers and the solar system consists of 9 solar panels, 5
permanent batteries and one Inverter, ¢urrendy generatyng an avery of 490S kilowatts of electricw per day.
