Activities
Activities of the Lelung Dharma Trust include helping Tibetans in a number of areas; creating greater awareness of Tibetan Buddhist culture and religion; organising teaching and meditation courses; providing sponsorship of monks, nuns, school children, university students and the elderly; the preservation of the Geden Phacho Bhucho lineages and publishing the works of the 5th Lelung RInpoche.
Objects: The Trustees Shall Hold The Trust Fund And Its Income Upon Trust To Apply Them For The Following Objects1) The Advancement Of Public Education In The Culture And Way Of Life Of Tibetan People And The Subject Of Tibetan Buddhism2) The Advancement Of The Buddhist Faith Through Meditation And Religious Observance, And Through Provision Of Financialsupport To Buddhist Monks, Nuns And Other Members, Inparticular, But Not Exclusively, Of The Drepung Monastery In Southern India3) The Relief Of Poverty, Sickness And Distress And The Advancement Of Education Of People In Tibet And Elsewhere
