**Objects:** THE ERECTION AND MAINTENANCE, OF A SUITABLE MEMORIAL TO ALL THE MERCHANT SEAMEN AND FISHERMEN OF SWANSEA WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE 1939-1945 WAR AND ALL CONFLICT'S SINCE AND TO OR FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES DECIDE.

**Activities:** We have a monthly meeting with ex and current merchant navy members to promote friendship and discuss ways of  raising funds to preserve the upkeep of our magnificent, monument and organise events regarding Merchant Navy seamen and mmembers of the fishing fleets who made the ultimate sacrifice.
