Names Trustees: Jessie Walters, Lauren Womack, Nicholas Papadopoulos
Manager: Katie Smoothy
Phase Five is a charitable preschool offering afforable, quality childcare to children aged 2-4 year olds within the local community.
Over the last year we have delivered this to over 60 families. As well as offering childcare we have held local events for the community and our families to raise funds to buy a new building. We have held Bingo nights, raffles, a christmas party and summer fair.
Despite challenges from the Government by offering additional to funding to under 2’s and us no longer being able to charge for consumable items and services we have continued to fundraise to try to bring up the shortfall financially.
The trustees for Phase 5 aim to maintain suffient reserves to ensure the charity can continue to operate effectively. At year end the reserves were considered appropriate for the charities needs.
The trustees are responsible for setting the direction for the charity and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The board meetas regualary throughout the year to review performance, finances and strategic policies.
In the coming year the charity plans to expand delivery by replacing our current building for a larger one and continue to develop partnerships with the local community.
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Annual report and and financial statements in accordance with applicable law and confirm they have approved this report and believe this actively reflects the sctivities and financial position of the Charity for this reporting period.
