and involved our 250,000+ 5UPPOrters and the wider public. amplifyin9 SUPPOrt for thè arts and raising
awareness about the issues affecting them nationally and lO￿lly. We have carried out vital research on
the statg of the arts in the UK and the barriers to artistic activityand a¢¢ess. And we havt èngagad
-directlywiih decision-makers to en$ure that-effective solutionsare found and prloritlsed.

prov5sion, engagemènt, èducation and employment- makin9this Vital information freely available and
accessible to all. 11 featured original artwork by Bob and Roberta Smith and photo-portraits by Ayesha

impli¢ations forthe arts, as well as the announcement of the UK Governmenfs £270m Arts Everywhere
Fund, making funding and policy changes clear and accessible to our supporter5 and the public.
We also marked the 80th anniversary of Jennie Lee's seminal white paperforthe art$ with content
gxplorlng her ideas and legacy.

The TrvstÈes review the eharltrfs reserve$ poliey periodicallyto ensurè It remains appropriate, and as
part of the overall risk man89ement of the organisation. Within this review the Tru5tee5 con51derthe
potential impact of any change in finan¢ial stw¢ture. such asthe inrrodu¢tion of any l¢ng-term
COntra¢tual arrang•ments.
Currently. the Trustees consider the Ideal level of 9eneral reserves to be 3-5 months of planned ¢ore
