Activities
The trustees have been investigating a number of sites/options where a suitable Church/Community Centre could be developed to serve the needs of the local community in Durrington, Worthing and beyond. They have continued to raise funding for this venture through ongoing investments.
Objects: (a) To Advance The Christian Faith In Accordance With The Statement Of Beliefs Appended Hereto In The County Of West Sussex And In Such Other Parts Of The United Kingdom Or The World As The Directors Of The Charity (herein Called "the Trustees") May From Time To Time Think Fit; (b) To Relieve Persons Who Are In Conditions Of Need Or Hardship Or Who Are Aged Or Sick And To Relieve The Distress Caused Thereby In The Said County And In Such Other Parts Of The United Kingdom Or The World As The Trustees May From Time To Time Think Fit; (c) To Advance Education In Accordance With Christian Principles By Such Means As The Trustees May Consider Appropriate Including By Means Of Establishing And Operating Any Educational Establishment Or Establishments In The Said County And In Such Other Parts Of The United Kingdom Or The World As The Trustees May From Time To Time Think Fit; (d) For The Public Benefit And In Particular For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of West Durrington (in The County Of West Sussex) To Provide And Assist In The Provision Of Facilities For Their Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life; (e) To Promote And Fulfil Such Other Charitable Purposes Beneficial To The Community In The Said County And In Such Other Parts Of The United Kingdom Or The World As The Trustees May From Time To Time Think Fit.
