Para 1.17 | The Trust Deed specifies that the Trustees may apply the Charities funds 'for such charitable purpose or purposes according to the Laws of England and Wales or in furtherance of an event or events organised by Chelmsford Round Table for the purpose of raising funds for such purposes for distribution in the United Kingdom and elsewhere and/or to or for the benefit of such one or more individuals charitable bodies trusts institutions or organisations established for such charitable purposes as aforesaid and in such shares and in such manner as Chelmsford Round Table in ordinary meeting shall in it absolute discretion determine. Chelmsford Round Table undertakes activities to raise monies for the Charity and applies these to charities, needy and good causes predominantly locally to Chelmsford, but has discretion to apply throughout the UK and worldwide. |

Para 1.20 | Chelmsford Charity Fireworks This event represents Chelmsford Round Table's biggest fundraising event and is the largest charitable fireworks display held annually in Chelmsford. Donations were made to a long list of charities. Christmas Trees At the end of the year we sell and deliver Christmas trees in the local area. We use profits to distribute hampers to the elderly and to vulnerable families in the local area. Christmas Santa Sleigh Each year in the run up to Christmas we undertake door to door collections. We use profits to distribute various local charities. |

Responsibilities and basis As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act”).
