ABACUS The Willows, Ipswich Road IA)ng Stratton, NRI 5 2TG Tel. 07851 600355 account&@abcabacus.co.uk www.abcabacus.co.uk • nam• you on Accountants Book-K••pers Consultants Independent examiner's report to the trnstees of the WLittle Sparks Presch(￿1. I report on the accounts of the alK)ve charity number 1079011 for the wiod ended 31 August 2020 Respeetive responsibilitie8 of trustees and examiner The charity's trustees are K8ponsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with th¢ Charities Act 2011 (the Act). The charity's trustees consider that an audil is not required for this year under section 144 of the Act 1993 and that an lThde￿ndent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under seclion 145 of the Act" to follow the procedures laid down in the gener￿ Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5Xb) of the Act: and to state wh¢th¢r pariicular matt¢rs have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner'$ report My examination was CWTied out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given &$ to whether ihe accounts present a 'true and fair view, and the report is limited to those mallers set out in the statement below. Independent ei*miner's ststement In connection with my examinatiory no rna1￿ has Come to my attention which gives me reasonable Cau￿ to believe that in any material respect: the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act" or the accounts did not accord with the accounting records: or the accounts did not Comply with the applicable requirements concernin8 the fonn and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Rewrts) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair. view which is not a matter considered &8 part of an independent examination. I have no material concerns, however the petty cash record keeping was inadequate. but have come across no other matters in comiection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a pro￿ und¢rst8nding of the accounts to ￿ reached.
