Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects To make grants and disbursements to small effective organisations and individuals whose purposes and aims align with those of the founder as expressed In his letter of wishes. Summary of the main achievements of The Trustees met twice during the period on Friday 04 August 2023 and the charity during the financial period Friday 16 February 2024. At the first meeting the chair explained that following the deaths of the charity's founder Neil Dyson, and later his wife Joan Dyson, the charity had received a legacy of an approximate shareholding of 49 % in each of two local commercial property companies (lon Dyson Ltd. & lon Dyson Plumbing Ltd.) and that the majority of its income would now derive from shareholder dividends paid by these companies. The charity also received a cash legacy from the estate of Neil Dyson ofjust over £31,000. The chair stated that Neil Dyson had always been impressed by the work of Pat Kerr at Sreepur Village Bangladesh and it was suggested that our charity would continue to support their work. Carl Dyson stated that he would travel to Bangladesh in October 2023 at his o￿n expense to meet with Pat Kerr and discuss our continued support. At the second meeting Carl Dyson reported very favourably on the Sreepur Village project and recommended our continued support. The trustees agreed a donation of £20,000 this year. They also agreed a small grant of £1,000 to a local educational psychologist working with disadvantaged children. The chair urged the trustees to come forward at the next meeting with their own ideas for future disbursements in line with the charity's objectives for discussion at the following meeting as it was considered that funds sitting in the charity's bank account were unlikely to be of assistance to those who might benefit.
