Following sale of village hall facility the main role of the village Hall Association is to ensure that monies held are invested safely, for the building of a new facility if a feasible opportunity to do so arises at any time in the future. Also to provide a temporary venue for special village activities as minuted at 2010 AGM.
Objects: To Provide And Assist In The Provision Of Village Hall Facilities For The Use Of The Inhabitants Of Marske And New Forest Together With Downholme In The District Of Richmondshire In The County Of North Yorkshire (Hereinafter Called "The Area Of Benefit") Without Distinction Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinion, Including Use For Meeting, Lectures And Classes, And For Other Forms Of Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation, With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants.
