All accounts documents for April 2022 to April 2023 received and audited.
Including Invoices for monies into main charity account and all paid out receipts. Correct tally to manual account keeping book and cheque book activity cross referenced.
After examining all financial records, including both National Westminster Bank Account statements,
file inspection and logging of all entries, all tallied and trailed correctly to ledgers.
Checked employers and employees on line portal for staff wages payments, these where found to be in order, and matched tracked payments. These are managed by a third party credible firm.
I am pleased the treasurer has adopted electronic invoicing and suggests produces monthly spread sheet summary of accounts balances to assist in further audits.
The management committee is a well run and organised body, and looks after the charity finances well, but I took the opportunity to talk through cash flow concerns with treasurer, identifying short falls in projected profits in this financial year, with rising on book costs, and a trend of lower booking revenue.
Year end reported balance I can confirm as correct
April 2022 – April 2023 £26,491.12 money received April 2012 – April 2023 £14,859.09 money paid out April 2012 – April 2023 £11,632.03 operating profit
Interest payments on reserve account going forward would be required to be recorded in accounts declared.
