is committed
to making a difference

We support a range of projects including;|| ||||||LINX|| ||||||LiNX Christian
Youth Trust is an exciting
initiative
in Torbay representing|| ||||||a commitment
from a variety of local churches
to serve young
people,|| ||||||particularly
in the context of local secondary
schools.
In Torbay
it seeks|| ||||||to support the development
ofthe whole young person —physically,|| ||||||mentally,
emotionally,
spiritually
and socially.
Under the management|of| ||||||Trustees,
church leaders and sducationalists,
LINX seeks to make|| ||||||personnel
and resources available
to local schools.|| ||||||Peacad Together|| ||||||Some of the church members
have been involved
with leading
this|| ||||||specialist support
group, which receives referrals from the local council|to| ||||||provide creative arts session along with discussion
and personal|| ||||||development.
At this stage the Trustees
did not want
it to be a church|| ||||||ministry
specifically,
but we are committed
to supporting
our members|in| ||||||their involvement
and the church
is providing
increasing
support
and|| ||||||infrastructure
for the project.|| ||||||Prison visiting and Prison Alpha|| ||||||The bulk ofthe Prison Alpha course was successfully
delivered,
though|| ||||||with interruption
as a result ofthe global pandemic.
We are anticipating|| ||||||more involvement
with HMP Channings
Wood as events and|| ||||||opportunities
re-open.|| ||||||Family Fund|| ||||||The church
is committed
to support
our members
and community
in|| ||||||need, and so have made use of our specific 'family fund' money to|| ||||||provide
urgent
and ongoing
support for situations
that have been brought|| ||||||to our attention.
We continue to build this fund and anticipate
increased|| ||||||need
in the future as the consequences
ofthe Covid 19pandemic
and|| ||||||Brexit become a
